A Pop of Indie fosters a love for reading by connecting elementary students with inspiring stories crafted by Michigan indie authors. Through our thoughtfully curated book fairs and FREE 90-minute literacy events, we promote creativity, literacy, and community engagement. Each event features interactive writing workshops, story time sessions, arts and crafts, and author Q&As—all facilitated by local Michigan authors. With every book fair and literacy event, we’re empowering the next generation of readers while uplifting local authors and schools across Michigan.
